Vaude Splash Air 20 5 backpack review

Super-comfy rucksack

BikeRadar score4.5/5

The Splash Air is super-comfy thanks to the spring wire frame that keeps the body of the pack away from the mesh backing.

This lets the air flow onto your back to keep you noticeably cooler than normal, and stops irregular loads digging in.

The padded shoulder harness adds more comfort, while waist and sternum straps keep everything securely in place.

The main body is 20L, although you can zip in the excess if you don’t need that volume, and there’s a sleeve and routing in there for a hydration bladder.

Plenty of external pockets add another 5L, there’s a removable helmet holder, and you get an effective waterproof cover for when it rains.
