It's October and the weather is starting to get grim (in the UK, at least) but that's no excuse to put the bike away, as our BikeRadar Training members have already proven!

An impressive 122 users have signed up to the October Commuter Challenge group, many of whom have already covered nine commuting sessions already. If you'd like to get involved, it's not too late, and the rules are simple. Just join the group and ride your bike to work and back as often as possible throughout the month of October. Those who log at least 20 sessions will be entered into a prize draw, and one lucky winner will win a box of cycling goodies.

We're also offering another chance for two contestants to win a spot prize. As well as logging your commuting sessions, upload photos of your commute to the Commuter Challenge group by Wednesday 10 October 2012 – just navigate to the Photos tab and hit Add Photo.

We'll select our 10 favourite images and put them forward for votes from our Facebook community from next Thursday. The snappers who took the two images with the most 'Likes' will win a BikeRadar Training cycling jersey, and we'll announce the winners next Friday, 12 October.
