Brilliant race-cut jersey – but it's sooo pricey

The SS13 is a highly technical jersey with some very novel features, most notably the 3D Senso Mesh running down the centre of the back. This acts as a frame for the jersey when you’re bent over in the saddle and maintains the jersey’s shape – even when your pockets are loaded.

The fit is body-hugging perfection for the best hot-weather performance.

All its seams are flat-stitched for maximum comfort. The main front panels have the perfect mix of hardwearing durability and comfort, while the rear gets an airy mix of meshed panels to improve its moisture transfer capability.

The sleeves are satin soft and there are neat touches such as the lower zip garage to prevent snagging and a sewn port for headphone leads. It’s all excellent stuff, though it does come at a heck of a price.

The only downside is you need an Adonis figure to do the jersey any justice. The skintight look doesn’t flatter if you’ve a bit of a belly so it’ll encourage you to lose some of your own extra padding. The lack of loose fabric means it’s a good racing top, as it offers little wind resistance.
