Light, pretty stiff and great for taller cross-country riders, if slightly out there

CrankBrothers are perhaps the only company mad enough to have a downhill-wide carbon bar for cross-country.

Weighing 180g, this 780mm bar gives nine degrees of backsweep, five of upsweep and 15mm of rise to lure you low over the front end.

The width means great leverage and flex is fine for XC use, though all-mountain riders may be put off by that tag.

There are cut lines down to 700mm, but that just seems a bit sensible.
