Great feel, speed and grip, but too short-lived

Michelin’s Pro 2 was a classic, but while the 3 Light increases performance it pushes into the race day category. It’s a tight fit onto the wheel but equally tight in terms of control, with the sticky dual compound gluing you to even the wettest corners.

The light weight and supple carcass keep it one of the fastest feeling and rolling tyres we've tested. The downside is it starts to pick up debris and disintegrate on the road, and leaves sticky grey rubber on your rollers. While building on the success of the Pro 2, this is better suited to serious racers.
