The 2013 Slice jersey is a great, casual-fitting top that fits into a fall or spring riding wardrobe but breathes well enough to be ridden in milder summer conditions, too.
Made of Royal's General Issue Plus fabric, the Slice wicks sweat reasonably well without retaining too much stink, and offers unrestricted movement as your ride. Graphics are screenprinted and, short of the woven Royal flag label on the lower left flank, the labels are otherwise heat transferred to avoid scratching the skin.
The arms offer plenty of length, and the torso is long enough for tall riders. There aren't any pockets, zippers, vents, or other features; the Slice is a straightforward lightweight, long sleeved jersey in a casual fit – no more, no less.
