Red Bull wants you to ride a million miles to work (but you’ll have help)

Log your rides to work on Strava and earn rewards

This is a sponsored article in association with Red Bull.

Are you in need of a boost to get you out of the car and on your bike for the daily commute? Energy drink maker and creator of innumerable sports Red Bull wants the UK’s cyclists and runners to do a million miles of commuting this summer, entirely under their own steam.

The brand has partnered with everyone’s favourite ride-logging platform Strava, and it’s offering something to kickstart your efforts.

What’s it all about?

The Million Mile Commute is about motivating people to cycle or run to work, and Red Bull is aiming to get a million miles of human-powered commuting logged on Strava this summer.

There are already over 10,000 athletes signed up and collectively, they’ve logged over 600,000 miles.

What’s in it for me?

Other than the smug satisfaction of burning calories rather than fossil fuels, you’ll be eligible to receive a free Red Bull sample pack as soon as you’ve logged your first mile of commuting.

Your continued participation will earn you the chance to win more rewards, the details of which are to be confirmed.

How do I get involved?

It’s dead simple; all you need to do is head to the Million Mile Commute homepage and click the ‘Connect with Strava’ button.

If you don’t already have a Strava account, it’s free to sign up for a basic membership.

You’ll then be invited to enter your details to receive your sample pack. For miles to count, rides need to be tagged as “commute”.

What are you waiting for? Get riding, get Strava-ing, and get fit!
