BBB make a huge range of tools and cycling accessories, and while you might think this jack of all trades approach might result in so-so eyewear, the Select PH sunglasses made us think again.
The Selects have an Oakley Radar inspired design, with similar dimensions and aesthetics. Grip levels are good enough to keep them from shifting when you’re on the move. The nosepiece is snug and we liked the fact that it has a wire core – so it can be shaped to perfectly adapt to irregular-shaped noses.
We chose the PH polycarbonate photochromic lens: they take just eight seconds to switch from 85 percent light transmission to 17 percent when the sun shines – just right for most UK light conditions. Other lenses are available.
