Sturdy frames make for great protection but awkward lens changes

Valuable input from professional athletes is evident in the styling and performance of these sporty specs, as their close fitting frame feels pleasingly robust.

Unfortunately, this rugged construction means that flexing the frame sufficiently to allow lens removal is nerve-racking, although lenses remained secure throughout our test period.

Rubber inserts at the temples and nose bridge hold them in place, and air flow is sufficient to keep lenses clear in most situations.

The Revo high-contrast lenses give an unusual blue tinge to the scenery, but their flared lower edges do keep your eyes protected from wind and rain.
