Our review
A neat budget HR solution with a little extra faff ...

Most cheap heart rate monitors don’t come with large memories, making it difficult to collect and analyse meaningful chunks of data. This small gadget solves the problem by attaching anywhere about your person and wirelessly collecting up to 30 hours of heart rate data from almost any HR chest strap every two seconds, for up to 99 different workouts.

The Logger works with analogue (5KHz) chest straps from the likes of Timex, Cardiosport, Nike and Polar. There’s just one button and one little flashing light to tell you whether it’s connected, when it’s almost full and when the battery is low.

Once home, you connect the device to your PC with a USB cable and upload the data to the SmartSync PC software that comes with it. This simple software will display your recorded rides on a calendar, in a log and as an HR graph for each ride.
