Well fitting and light – but lacks some finishing touches

Despite its long sleeves, the Path is a fairly lightweight jersey with a strategically placed mesh panel, so we didn’t feel in danger of overheating when wearing it. With that in mind we reckon it’s ideal for riding on spring-turning-to-summer days.

The cut is comfortably easy but thanks to its neat shoulder line and raglan sleeve construction it has an exceptionally ‘tidy’ ride quality, which we liked a lot. But the Path lacks some finishing performance touches.

There’s no back neck tape and no zip guard either. The latter was particularly noticeable because the neck line feels higher at the front when you’re riding. There’s one small zipped side pocket, but otherwise it feels like a basic jersey – and that has to stack up against similar styles at almost £10 less.
