Well made and comfortable fabric, but a little light on features

The Convector Zip is designed as a crossover riding/running top, although the only sign that it’s not a pure bike jersey is the absence of pockets.

You do get a short front zip though, which is effective for extra ventilation should you start to overheat, and there’s a baffle behind to prevent it being a cold spot on your chest. Pull the zip up into the comfort-enhancing zip garage and you’ll find a comfy draft-free high collar.

The fit is relaxed and, despite the multipurpose design, there’s ample length in the sleeves and back to keep the wrists and lower back covered when riding. Seams are all flat and well finished to make them sit nicely and there’s no unravelling at the first sign of hardship.

The highlight of this jersey is the luxuriously smooth feeling fabric. The micro waffle weave features tiny pockets on the inside which trap warm air next to the skin, adding insulation. We think this would work better in a more snugly fitting jersey, but the Convector wicks well and is certainly comfortable to wear across a wide temperature range.
