NBL means Natural Base Layer: natural because it’s made from 100 percent merino wool. It’s snuggly to wear, with flat locked seams adding to the comfort. Merino tops also do an excellent job of regulating body temperature.
The antibacterial qualities of merino mean a less potent whiff if you don’t wash it after every use, but the smell of ewe (thankyouverymuch) will persuade most to ignore the ‘up to five months’ wash-free use of the sales spiel.
