These Nitto bars are made in Japan but originate from the States, where they were designed for long distance cycling by the Rivendell Bicycle Works. The tops curve back gently to provide a more upright riding position, whether rested on the hoods or the drops.
They're suitable for non-oversized stems and are available in the 44cm width from stock, with other sizes to order. The 44cm version that we tested is 45cm wide at the top, going out to 47cm on the drops.
