Its looks may not be everyone’s taste, but the Mountain Man is comfy, light and well-priced

The Mountain Man is Outland’s take on the ultimate all-mountain saddle. The 127mm width cushions well while riding over rough terrain yet is narrow enough to slip between your legs while getting over the back on steep descents.

When it comes to heading back up, the bulbous nose pads your delicate bits well and gives you more room to manoeuvre while vying for traction and getting into position.

Our titanium hollow railed sample weighed in at 249g, which considering the price, is very competitive. However, it may take a little time to get used to aesthetically.
