BikeRadar's Joe Norledge and his friend Tom Wragg have been riding together for a long time, and while both are no stranger to long, hard days in the saddle, their recent Welsh coast-to-coast mountain bike challenge certainly proved testing.

Follow the pair in the video above as they experience new limits in sleep deprivation, soreness and nutrition requirements while travelling coast-to-coast across Wales, tackling a 346km route and 7,880m of climbing with no less than seven trail centres along the way — all in one go. What could possibly go wrong?
