Shimano’s cockpit and accessory company, PRO, is expanding its dropper seatpost line with options for aggressive trail riding as well as gravel.

The Koryak dropper seatpost is currently available in a single, 120mm version in 30.9 and 31.6mm diameters. Starting this fall, the range will expand with 170mm, 150mm and 70mm versions.

The longest option to date in PRO’s line, the 170mm version, will come in a single, internally routed version in 30.9 and 31.6mm diameters. Total length is listed at 507mm.

PRO will offer the Koryak 150 in internally- and externally-routed versions in 30.9 and 31.6mm diameters. The internally-routed 150 and 170mm versions will feature a new left-hand 1x remote.

The capabilities of gravel bikes are increasing. As more riders gravel ride with singletrack, the demand for short-travel dropper seatposts is increasing. The externally-routed Koryak 70 offers 70mm of travel in a 27.2mm diameter seatpost.

It will ship with the universal thumb lever, similar to that used on the external Koryak 150. We hope to see a refined lever for drop bar use in the future.

Koryak dropper seatpost pricing and availability

All new models will be available in October.

Pricing has yet to be announced, but it will likely be in line with the current 120mm dropper seatpost, which is priced at £200 / $245.
