The original Kask Mojito scored very highly with us and was lucky enough to grace the heads of multiple Grand Tour winners, and this update is restyled with a focus on riding comfort.
Kask Mojito X key features
The Mojito X weighs in at a respectable 220g for a size medium and has 26 vents to ensure decent airflow when riding hard.
Kask’s Up’n’Down adjustment system is claimed to provide a precise and comfortable fit thanks to its dual pivot design and tensioning dial.
The helmet has all the modern design features you would expect; in-mould construction bonds the polycarbonate outer shell and there's a polystyrene core for better impact protection.
Kask’s MIT technology extends the polycarbonate shell around the base of the helmet to provide increased durability, too.
Why this makes it gravel specific we are not quite sure, but the Mojito X Peak adds a removable peak to protect you from rain, grit, gravel, mud and sun during your rides.
As far as we can tell, this is essentially the same shell as the Mojito X aside from the peak, and features identical faux-leather chin strap, antimicrobial padding and reflective detailing for improved visibility.
